Fiona Waller

MSW, LCSW, CFP®

Childfree Wealth Specialist®

Fiona is a cohost of the Childfree Life by Design podcast and brings a grounded yet imaginative approach to life design and planning.

Her fascination with money began at age 7, inspired by her Barbie "Shop With Me" Cash Register and a toy piggy bank for hoarding spare change. Growing up in a family that valued financial literacy, she developed a positive relationship with money early on. In college, she discovered the FIRE movement and financial minimalism, which motivated her to save diligently and pursue financial independence.

She joined Childfree Wealth® as part of a big career change. After earning a degree in chemistry, she realized her true calling was helping people. She earned a master's in social work from Washington University and later ran her own private therapy practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Today, she blends her therapy expertise with my passion for personal finance as a paraplanner and Childfree Wealth Specialist®.

When she's not working, Fiona is probably at the gym enjoying science-based bodybuilding, rewatching The Office, and practicing minimalism (sometimes convincing my husband to declutter alongside me).
